If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us at teams@24hourrelay.com or call 250-717-6767

How many people do I need to enter a team?
It is up to you how many people you would like on your team, just as long as you can commit to having at least one person to be on the running route at all times. If you have fewer than 5 people recruited for your team, and are looking for extra teammates to support your team, please contact us and we'll help connect you with other runners.

Do participants have to be 19 years old or older?
Participants under the age of 19 years are welcome to participate in the Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay For The Kids; however, participants must submit a completed waiver signed by a legal parent or guardian. Teams of participants under the age of 19 years are allowed participate in the 24 Hour Relay if they have arranged appropriate adult supervision for the duration of the event as well as submit signed waivers. Adult supervision constitutes a parent and/or guardian, a teacher or group leader. There must be one adult for every 10 participants under the age of 19 years. The BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities and Easter Seals are not responsible for supervising participants under the age of 19 years.

Is there a deadline for registration?
No, there is no deadline for registration, but why leave things to the last minute. The sooner you register, the more time you will have to fundraise and prepare for Relay weekend.

Is there a fundraising minimum?
No, we do not have a fundraising minimum.

The operating cost to send one child to camp is $2,400, therefore are encouraging each of our team to send one child to Camp. If you have a team of 20 people, that’s only $120 each!

Don’t stress about reaching this team goal – we’re here to make it easy for you! Once you sign up we will give you all the tools you need for fundraising. Next thing you know, you’re well on your way to packing your bags for a weekend of fun!

What time is the Relay?
24 hours from 10:00 am to 10:00 am the next day!
Like any celebration … it takes time to plan. Check in our “Event Weekend Details” regularly for updates.

Does everyone on the team have to stay for 24 hours?
No, we understand that not everyone is able to stay for the full 24 hours. We have so much planned, you’re not going to want to miss out.

What is the distance of the route?
KELOWNA - The Relay route stays in the Apple Bowl on the track. At night the track is well lit, entry to the Apple Bowl is monitored by security so that only those wearing designated wrist bands will be admitted.

For those of your wondering if you have to run around the track . . . No, you don’t have to run. You can walk, skip or crawl, BUT we may recommend knee pads if you really do decide to crawl.

What happens if it rains?
We won’t let a little bit of liquid sunshine stop a good celebration! On that note, check the weather forecast and pack accordingly.
