INFORMATION TENT
Have a question or problem during Relay weekend? Head to the Information tent located inside the track across from the Food and Beverage Tent. The Information tent is open 24 hours and our wonderful Relay staff is ready to help you find your Team Tent Area, lost or found, general information and much more. This is also Recreation HQ so stop by to see what events are going on, sign-out equipment or find out more about joining the activities and entertainment.
SECURITY

BC Security and Safety will be patrolling the entrance gates and inside the Apple Bowl starting 8 pm Friday June 8th until 10 am Sunday June 10th. They will have radios and be in contact with the RCMP and be able to provide medical assistance if needed. Security is in place for participant, volunteer and spectator safety and security. Please report any issues of concern during the event to the information tent, which is located inside the track by the Burtch Rd entrance.
The public is welcome to enter the Apple Bowl to watch the relay, cheer on teams & enjoy the entertainment; however, be sure that if they are entering after 10 pm on Saturday that they have a wristband.
Starting 10 pm Saturday until 6am Sunday security will be at the entrances allowing those wearing Relay wristbands to enter (these wristbands will be given to Team Captains beforehand). Please ensure that all team members, friends and family members have a wristband before 10 pm or they will be denied entrance to the event. EVERYONE must wear a wristband to enter the stadium during this time.
ALCOHOL POLICY
The 24 Hour Relay has a NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL POLICY. There will be a designated licensed area in which to purchase and consume alcohol during the event. All alcohol must be purchased from our Hospitality Tent (all proceeds from sales in this area will go to the 24 Hour Relay to help send kids to camp). If you are seen with outside alcohol it MAY BE CONFISCATED.
Those choosing to consume alcohol from the Hospitality Tent are asked to please be considerate of others and know your limit. Reckless or offensive behavior will not be tolerated and Security or Relay Staff reserve the right to remove people at any time. We ask Team Captains to be responsible for the behavior of their team members and for all teams to work together to keep the energy positive throughout the event. This year our liquor license has changed and minors will not be allowed inside the Hospitality Tent. There will be food services and tables & chairs outside of the fenced Hospitality Tent.
MEDICAL SAFETY
On-site primary medical care will be available during the Relay. The First Aid Tent will be located beside the Food and Beverage Tent, on the outside of the track, across from the Money Mart Tent.
