Why do I participate in The Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay For the Kids? It’s simple! I get a chance to spend 24 fun-filled hours with my teammates while helping BC’s children with disabilities.

I put a lot of hard work into our team’s fundraising events and I collect individual pledges to put towards our team total. But the effort is worth it, because all of the money that is raised stays in the province and helps the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities send hundreds of kids to Easter Seals Summer Camps. Besides, I get to celebrate my achievements along with my team during Relay weekend by joining in the many activities and enjoying the live entertainment between laps. No matter what I end up doing, it’s a great chance to reflect on the on the real reason I participate in the 24 Hour Relay – the kids.
