What a year! With 152 teams and over 6,000 participants, this year's Relay is something for everyone to be very proud of.

I would like to send out a big thank you to everyone who participated in this year's event. An even larger THANK YOU goes out to all our team captains and co-captains. Having been a team captain myself, I know the hours of giggles and smiles that go into planning a team for the 24 Hour Relay. I want you to know how special you are to us and to the hundreds of children with disabilities you've helped send to camp this summer.

We are always pleasantly surprised by the dollars raised for the Relay and this year was no different. You blew our totals out of the water!!! Your dedication to the kids is awesome and it helps make this event one of the best in BC!!

I had a chance to visit Camp Squamish last summer and want you all to know that your hard work definitely brings many huge smiles to the camper's faces. I hope that you will take us up on our invitation to this summer's open house at Camp Squamish (Saturday, July 23) so that you can experience the smiles first hand.

For those who joined the Relay family for the first time this year, I hope it was all you expected and more. We look forward to seeing you at next year's event! It just gets easier from here…I promise!
