"Thank you to everyone for continually making the 24 Hour Relay a success every year so that children can have a fantastic experience at camp year after year. I was a camper for 13 years and now been working at Camp Squamish and it is such an uplifting experience. I'm speechless when camp is involved"
- Brianne

It may have been a little soggy and a tad cold, but nothing could stop 141 teams and their countless supporters from raising an incredible $1.2 million dollars! You braved the wet running course, the soggy campsites, and the chilly night air so that we could bring sunshine and smiles to the hundreds of children that will enjoy Easter Seals Camps this summer. Thank you so much to all of you for your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm for this amazing cause!

Even though the weather didn't quite cooperate for the entire weekend and we had that tiny inconvenience of having no access to the infield, we still had the chance to enjoy ourselves through a TON of great activities. There was never a dull moment at this year's Relay as participants enjoyed more live music, magic shows in the Kids Zone, new activities like the Obstacle Course and Scavenger Hunt, shopping with our sponsors, manicures, face-painting, massages and much more! It's amazing that you found the time to run - but run you did, logging over 14, 236 miles!

This year was my first Relay ever, and it was truly unforgettable. I cannot even begin to tell you how impressed I was with our amazing team captains and co-captains, who led their teams fearlessly through another inspiring year. We would like to thank you for all the extra time and enthusiasm that you dedicated to the event - it wouldn't happen without you!

I would also like to congratulate and thank all our first year teams. You far exceeded our expectations, and we hope we exceeded yours. A giant pat on the back to all the first year teams who raised over $5000!

We hope that you have the chance to visit one of our Easter Seal Camp Open Houses this summer, so you can see firsthand the sunshine and smiles that you have brought to children with disabilities in BC. Camp Squamish is open on July 21, Camp Shawnigan on July 22 and Camp Winfield on Aug. 12.

Thank you!

Until next year,
