Each year we strive to round up as many sponsors and supporters as possible to reduce the cost of putting on the Relay and enabling your fundraising to go directly to camper funding. To do this we solicit sponsors for much needed cash, goods and services, team incentive prizes and other Relay needs.
Our national Presenting Partner, Money Mart, donates money to the event and sends fabulous volunteers to operate the running results tent on Relay weekend. A big thank you to Money Mart across the country for continuing this great relationship!! Global BC, Vancouver 24 Hours and 95 Crave ensure that we're in the eyes and ears of the lower mainland. They help us to get the word out about this fabulous event and we thank them for being so great to work with. The City of Burnaby and their Parks and Recreation department donate the use of Swangard Stadium and allow our teams to camp in Central Park; a privilege only extended to the Relay. The Relay has been held at Swangard for 29 years and we have nothing but good things to say about everyone we deal with. Thank you!! This year we created a wonderful partnership with New Balance. Of utmost importance to team captains & co-captains is the coveted New Balance jacket!! Thank you New Balance for joining the Relay family. We look forward to many years to come! Thank you Urban Rec for challenging our teams with volleyball and bocce. These two sports have become events of their own on Relay weekend and the dedication of the Urban Rec staff is amazing! Thrifty Foods was a big part of the Relay family behind the scenes this year and we thank them for their very generous donations. Last, but certainly not least, we have Hemlock Printers- thank you for all of our printing needs & for being a great team; Caorda Solutions - they help us operate a fabulous Relay website; Methanex - a wonderful team as well as donor…thank you!; FIDO - a great donor as well as provides superb team prizing & cell phones; and brand new this year, BC Hydro joined the team by sponsoring our volunteers. A huge thank you to BC Hydro for helping us all focus on being more "PowerSmart".
