Thirty first year produces a great total!!

The weather gods were very good to this year’s Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay. Almost perfect running, partying and volleyball conditions prevailed at the 2010 Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay at Swangard Stadium. Participants responded by enjoying the non-stop Relay activities, food, entertainment, sports and beer!

With good weather, a full slate of great entertainment, good beverages, volleyball, bocce, music, product samplers, massage and merchant tents, it was a busy venue.

So many old and new faces at this year’s event too! The CPX Road Dawgs didn’t disappoint this year bringing in an awesome total of $37,190 followed closely by the usual suspects in the top five - Club on Top $28,692, Methanextreme Team with $28,655 and the Bobbleheads at $23,041. How about that CGA Running Team with a 192% increase to get them to 5th spot with a team total of $18,411!

Some of you rocked at the stage with our great entertainment lineup, some of you relaxed at the South End food and beverage area, some just hung out at your cozy camp sites and a lot of you soaked up the sun, ran for the Kids or visited all our interesting tents and booths. Whatever you did, you sure raised a lot money for the Easter Seals camp program.

The Relay committee strives to bring you the best possible experience at Swangard for the Relay. If you think we can do better or have some cool ideas for activities or would like to help us in any , we welcome your input! Please contact our office and tell us what you want to do!
